The coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) pandemic has triggered an unprecedented massive global crisis and significant impact to Southeast Asian economies. MSMEs in Southeast Asia, like those in the rest of the world, have been severely affected by the pandemic. In contrast to larger corporations, MSMEs are often challenged by financial constraints. As a result, these are challenging times for many MSMEs in ASEAN and worldwide.

In continuation of ITTP-COVID19 webinar series, we are planning to conduct a webinar on “Strengthening the Internationalization of Southeast Asian Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in 4.0 Era”, on 4th of June 2021. This webinar aims to formulate methods and develop an implementation plan to strengthen the internationalization of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Southeast Asia. Yangon University of Economics Malaysia will be the host for this webinar.

The Objective of this Webinar are:
i. To formulate methods to strengthen the internationalization of MSMEs in Southeast Asia.
ii. To develop an implementation plan to strengthen the internationalization of MSME in Southeast Asia.
iii. To establish database of MSMEs in Southeast Asia
